Spring flats!

I love to wear flats in spring and I thought I'd share with all of you some of my favorite pairs. Two of them I got recently and the other one is a bit older but I love those flats to death, so I decided to show them anyway.

This first pair I got the other day at a store called Blanco (in which I pretty much only buy accessories). I wanted to try a pair like this for a long time and since these were around 15€ I decided to get them. In real life the color is a little bit more green, but I couldn't get that on camera.

This second pair are from Stradivarius and I think I showed them before (even though I don't remember if I showed it on here or on one of my videos) and I'm really in love with them. I love the bows because I think they're really cute and I love the fact that they're gold and a hard material instead of fabric.

This third pair is just a simple design from H&M but I like how they're sort of velvet feeling and you can wear them with either a casual outfit or a dressier one. I have like 4 or 5 pairs of black flats because I think they go with everything and I love to wear them when I go out at night and I want to take my heels off.

And last but not least, this is a pair of flats that I wear all the time. I think they're my most worn flats because they're the most comfortable (I think they're a little bit wider than the rest). I got them last summer from Forever 21, so look there because they sometimes restock things from past seasons and all that.

Weekly photos #5

This week has been a busy week to me. I've been doing a lot of college related stuff and I didn't even have time to post on here. I have classes till the end of the month and then I have finals in June, so we're kind of doing a lot of projects and papers now and stressing a little bit about everything.

Anyway, here are some pictures of my week, which was pretty boring.

1. I love The Wizard of Oz and I got the 2 dvd edition for my birthday last week. I know it's a really old movie, but I really like it and enjoy it as if it were new.

2. I used my matte top coat from Rimmel London for the second time ever. I really like the effect, I don't know why I don't use it often. 

3. My cat likes to be creepy from time to time and she kind of hides and then watches you and stares at you for a while. 

4. I went to Ikea and when I saw mirrors I couldn't resist and I took a full body picture as a (kind of) outfit of the day.

5. I don't go often to Ikea so I'm always amused by the amount of boxes they have, it's crazy!
6. Some guys were performing and break-dancing on a square close to my house the other day. They always have stuff going on there for people to see. I think this was like travel promotion for Lyon, a city in France.
7. This shows how bored I get in the subway. Not just the fact that I decided to take a picture of my face with the front camera of my iphone, but my facial expression. It says it all.
8. I went out with my friends yesterday night and those are the bracelets I wore, and my watch which I've had for ages.

Also, the weather suddenly changed and it's pretty warm out now, so hopefully I'll be able to show you some spring/summer outfits soon :)

Outfit of the day (from last week-ish)

I totally forgot about this. Last week, while I was out of town for a few days, I decided to take these pictures one day to show you what I was wearing. If you've seen my weekly photos from last week, you can see this is the outfit I wore to the movies to watch The Hunger Games for the second time.

You can probably see that my sister's not the best at taking outfit pictures and these look kind of weird (I think she took them from higher than she's supposed to, or something) but you can still see the outfit, so it's ok.

Weekly photos #4 + Birthday update!

I'm proud of myself for actually posting this on Sunday even though I have a ton of papers to do and all of that fun college stuff. I know it can also count as procrastinating, but I like to think that I'm doing it so you guys get it on the day that you're supposed to see it :)

1. Those are my favorite wedges from H&M, I got them a few months ago but since it's still pretty cold here I'm wearing them a lot lately. 

2. I love Zac Efron. He's my favorite actor and he's so gorgeous. I even got to meet him some weeks ago while he was promoting The Lorax and yeah, he's amazing. I had to take that picture even though people were staring at me. Doesn't everyone take pictures with movie posters? haha

3. If people were staring while I was taking my pic with cardboard Zac imagine what the situation was like while I was taking this one. My sister took the picture and even she was embarrassed...oh well. I think I'm too obsessed with The Hunger Games. 

4. My sister and I love pizza, so every time we don't know what to have for dinner we order some. 

5. I think I take too many pictures of my cat, but she's so cute :)
6. I was excited when I won over my iPhone on a chess game. I didn't even realized that was check mate when I moved the knight. I thought I had to make 1 or 2 more moves, but hey...I won.
7. That's a picture of me before I went out the other day. You can see my new tripod in the back.
8. Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough is my favorite ice cream of all time. I just can't get enough even though I'm lactose intolerant. Please, don't tell my doctor.

Now, as some of you may know, I turn 20 today...yay. I don't know how I feel about being on my 20's but I guess nothing is going to change. To celebrate it with you guys I'm going to show you a few random pictures I took the other day after filming a hair tutorial (which I'd link at the end of the post) and some pictures of my birthday cakes (we got 2 because my parents and sister can't decide on 1 flavor).

So I'm supposed to nominate 15 other people. I'm not going to nominate that many just because some people who I wanted to nominate already have the award and this is an award for "new" bloggers, so I consider that people who I give it to should have less than 100 followers. This is so new people here can get more followers.

Another rule is that you have to thank the person who nominated you and you have to leave a comment on the blogs you nominate letting them know about it.

As for the fun part, this consists on 7 random facts, so here I go:

1. You probably know that I'm in college but what you don't know is that I loathe it. It stresses me out so much and I can't handle the pressure of studying and having to do so many projects and papers and all of that. 

2. I plan on moving to London after I graduate from college. I love the city I live in but I hate this country, so I figured I'd move as soon as I can. Also, I plan on doing my master's degree over there.

3. I'm addicted to tv shows. I think it's a problem because it takes so much time. I watch around 15 tv shows and then some more that I don't watch every single episode right when they come out.

4. I love The Hunger Games books (and the movie as well). I've loved dystopian books (such as 1984 by George Orwell and Anthem by Ayn Rand) and movies (such as Gattaca, Equilibrium, The Island, Surrogates, The Matrix series) for a long time. 

5. I can spend hours and hours looking at clothes online. I don't know what I do but I'll start looking at a top and 3 hours later I'm in some other website looking up bracelets. Does that happen to any of you too?

6. I have a sister who is 18 but I can't share any of my passions with her because we're opposites. I have to buy basic clothes and make up for her cause she hates shopping. 

7. My 20th birthday is in 2 days (may 6th) and I'll try to get a post up that day so it's like my gift for you guys. I'm trying to think of something interesting to post, but I'll see what I can come up with. Suggestions anyone?? :)

April 2012 Favorites!

Today, I'm going to show you all the products that I've been using a lot this month, and that's why they're my april favorites :)

I'm sorry I'm posting this on may 3rd, but I was out of town for a few days and got home yesterday (some of you probably already knew that).

So yeah, let's go into it and like I did last month, I'm going to divide it into sections:

MAKE UP:

1. Make Up For Ever HD Foundation: This is seriously my favorite foundation of all time. It's great on my skin and also the color matched me perfectly I would say (I'm in the color 117, if you were wondering). I might do a separate post to review it and let you know all about it since it's a little bit pricey (it cost me 38€ at Sephora) and I like to read reviews before buying something that expensive. But overall, it's pretty amazing.

2: Milani Illuminating Face Powder in "Beauty's touch": I use this as a blush since it's very pink and I think it's really pretty. Also the packaging is very eye catching.

3: NYX Lipgloss in "Cosmo": it looks kind of brown right there but when you put in on your lips it gives them a great color and it also has a lot of shimmer/glitter to it; but I love it.

SKIN/ HAIR CARE:

4: Elf Cucumber-Melon body lotion: this is very inexpensive and smells amazing. It's a really fresh lotion that doesn't leave oil on your skin and absorbs sort of fast. I have sensitive skin and I didn't have any problem with this, so that's a plus.

5: Sephora Waterproof eye makeup remover: I only wear waterproof mascara and this just removes it in a second. I apply just a little bit of it on a cotton pad and swipe it across my eye. It works wonders and it was only 3€. You can also get a bigger bottle for 10€, I believe.

6: L'Oreal Elnett hairspray: I only use this hairspray and even though it's not what it claims to be, it's still amazing and I love the smell of it too.

7: Yes To Tomatoes facial wash: this is my 2nd favorite discovery after the foundation. It's made for combination/oily skin and it leaves my face fresh. I use it twice a day and it doesn't break me out of anything,  so I recommend it to all of you. 

I'm sorry this was a little bit short but I really didn't try that many things out this month. I'll try to get new stuff this month and I'll hopefully have some new favorites in a month :)
