On my latest "Inspired by" post I did Kendall Jenner and I told you I was going to be doing one for Kylie as well. Here it is, and I hope you like it.
I did three different casual looks for her because I really like her day to day style. She wears a lot of black and, as you can see, I based all three outfits on that color. I also see her wearing studs on her clothes often, so I included some studded pieces as well.
I decided to do another one of these "Inspired by" posts because they're one of my favorites and I just have so much fun trying to style the outfits and finding everything that I want online.
These one is inspired by Kendall Jenner. If you don't know who she is, she's one of the Kardashians' half sister (along with Kylie) and, personally, I think she has a lot of taste for clothing and she's always wearing something that I like.
I did two outfits because I really like her dressy style but at the same time I love her casual style. She is very trendy so usually wears items or brands on trend; for example, here I featured a high-low skirt, peter pan collar, cut-out shirts from Brandy Melville and combat boots with studs.
You all know I'm a huge Hunger Games fan, so I was very happy to create this look. I got my inspiration from her look at the Hunger Games premiere, where she wore a pretty brown smokey eye, peachy cheeks and really light colored (almost nude) lips.
My eyeliner is NYX Slide On pencil in "Jet black" and my mascara is CoverGirl Lash Blast (the waterproof version).
For my cheeks I used MAC's blush in "Launch Away!" (that came out with their Hey Sailor! collection) which is just a very light peachy color.
And last but not least I used MAC's lipstick in "Creme Cup" on my lips and NYX's lipgloss in "Mauve". This combination created a light pink color that can look a little nude as well.
If you want to see all the steps, you can go watch the video I made:
I love creating outfits inspired by TV characters because I find interesting how you can see a character and immediately know what outfits they would and wouldn't wear.
This time I created this one and I got my inspiration from Elena Gilbert who is played by Nina Dobrev in The Vampire Diaries.
The following outfit is inspired by Lea Michele's character on the very popular FOX show, Glee. Rachel Berry has a unique style that reminds me of the 50's and 60's in a way and gives her a good girl image. I really like her style even though it's not what I usually wear (maybe that's why I like it so much) and that's why I decided to make this post.
Do you like her style?
Would you wear something like this?
