Study time

I'm sorry I haven't been uploading these days but I have to retake some college exams pretty soon and I have been studying. I know it sounds lame, but that's my reality right now.

I'm planning on buying some cool makeup stuff that i've been wanting for a long time and i'm also going to go shopping soon, so i'll make a haul post for that.

if you read this, thank you so much! :)

Outfit Of The Day #2

I'm sorry I'm uploading this one kind of late but the only internet connection that I have right now is my iPhone, so it's pretty slow when I use it on my laptop.
I came to the beach 2 days ago, and I'm gonna show you a confortable outfit that you can wear when you're travelling.

What I'm wearing:
Top and shoes are from Forever 21, as well as my necklace (it's the same one from my OOTD #1 but kind of wrapped around itself to make it shorter). My shorts are from Blanco and my sunglasses from H&M. The rest of jewelry are from H&M, Macy's, Forever 21 and a couple local stores (my usual bracelet stack).

RIP, Jesús del Pozo

Spanish fashion designer Jesús del Pozo passed away yesterday (August 13th, 2011).
I'm very sad about this because I admire that man and I've been in love with his work since I started to be interested in the fashion industry.
I don't know how many of you even knew of his existence, but it's a pretty sad thing.
He made beautiful womenswear and bridal dresses. Actually, I've always thought that I was gonna wear one of his dresses (or Rosa Clara's) at my wedding.

Isn't it beautiful?

There are a few reasons why I love his work so much. He makes everything look easy and he creates very feminine shapes using plain colors. He made complicated pieces look simple and unique at the same time.

Aren't you in love?

Simple, yet sophisticated; that's why I love it so much.

With all that said,

REST IN PEACE.

Outfit Of The Day #1

This is my first outfit of the day post and if you'd like to see more of theses, please tell me! :)
This one was actually to go to the movies, and I know it may be too summery and beachy to go to the movies, but where I'm right now it's pretty hot (about 36ºC / 97F), so yeah.
Also, if you're wondering, the movie I watched was "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and I recommend it to you guys cause it was very good and it felt short even though it was like 2 hours or so long. If you've watched it and want to share your thoughts, please leave a comment below :)
Ok, so here's my outfit of the day:

My shorts are from Forever 21 and you may recognize them from the post where I showed my most used shorts. My top is from Zara and it is one of the basics that you can get for 5€ or 6€ I think. The necklace and sandals are from Forever 21.
The rest of the jewelry is from different places: my watch is from Swatch a long time ago and bracelets are from Macy's, H&M (left picture), Forever 21 and local stores. I'm wearing 3 rings even though you can only see 2. The one on the left picture is my class ring and the one on the right picture is from a local store.

I know my face looks weird and that's because I was wearing very light make-up cause I didn't feel like wearing a lot and since I was gonna be inside the movie theatre, no one was going to notice. Well, I have to admit that I never leave the house without mascara, but I was rushing and I forgot.

Hope you liked it :)

Best dressed at Teen Choice Awards

As you may know, the anual Teen Choice Awards were held last sunday (that's August 7th 2011) in Los Angeles.
Most people from the most popular american tv shows were there, singers, personalities and, in general, tons of celebrities.
There were a lot of dresses that I loved, but for some reason, my pick for "Best Dressed" was not even wearing a dress. So who did I choose?.... Shay Mitchell.

She wore DKNY separates , Jimmy Choo clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti peep toe shoes. I just think she was original for not wearing a dress and red looks great on her. I also loved her high ponytail.

You don't know who she is?: If you don't know who she is, shame on you (just kidding :D). She is one of the girls from Pretty Little Liars. It is my favorite show ever! (It used to be Gossip Girl, which I still love, but PLL has my heart now). The show airs every tuesday night on ABC family, so if you're american and you don't watch it yet, today's your day! If you're from somewhere else, like me, you have to wait until tomorrow morning to download it or watch it online.

Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Roller REVIEW!

So today I'm gonna tell you about the Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Roller. First of all I wanna say that I've been looking for it for a long time and last week I ran into it and bought it right away.
It is a great product, in my opinion.

It's supposed to reduce your under eye circles because it contains caffeine and the roller is made out of metal (or at least it looks like it) and it's cold. I've only been using it for a couple of days, so obviously my dark circles are still there. But, as it is tinted, it works as a concealer too and it does a great job.

  • Shade: I have very light skin and I was kinda worried about it cause the box said from light to dark, and I though that it was gonna be dark for me; but the truth is that it blends out very well and works great for my skin tone.
  • Size: it comes with 15ml of product, so I think it's gonna last for a long time.
  • Price: i don't remember the exact price; since I wanted it for so long, I didn't even look at it. But it's not pricey, if you're wondering. You have to think that it is a 2 in 1, so comparing it to a regular concealer, it's cheap.
This is what the metal ball looks like:
