I'm sorry I was not able to upload this yesterday, but here it is :)

1. Some Christmas decorations on the street. I really love Christmas lights around the city, it makes a huge difference.
2. I'm so obsessed with those booties. I got them this past week at Bershka for 30€ and I love them so much!
3. This is spanish paella. My mom made it yesterday for lunch and even though I'm not a fan of it, I have to say that it was pretty good.
4. This Christmas decoration has been hanging in my room for 3 years. I don't think I've ever shown it to you, but when I was an exchange student in the US one of my friend's mom made it for me, and I love it.

5. I got Lady Gaga's perfume last week and it smells really good. I thought it was going to be strong, but it's more of a sweet scent...that was a nice surprise.
6. You all know I love salad. I don't know what else to say.
7. My father got a pineapple and he cut it like that. I always put sugar on mine because, even though no one else thinks so, I think it tastes sour.
8. And my cat in her little cave aka my duvet, my pillow and a stuffed animal haha she stayed in there for like 5 hours.

OOTD | On Wednesdays we wear pink

Hello guys! Today I thought I'd do an outfit of the day post and, like the title says, I wore this last Wednesday. I always love it when I wear pink on Wednesdays without thinking about it (if you don't get the reference, I highly suggest you watch the movie "Mean Girls" because it's one of the funniest movies ever).

I'm sorry the light in these pictures is kind of weird, but it's been very cloudy lately and therefore, light in my room is not the best.

Outfit of the day - when is spring going to come?

I'm really tired of bad and cold weather, and I see most of you already wearing bright colors and all these spring trends that I can't wear yet. I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of jealous but I hope the weather changes soon enough.
So today I'm posting this outfit of the day because I really liked it, and even though it's really simple, I find it cute and comfy at the same time.

Like I said, it's really simple but I like it. As you can see dark colors are still what I'm wearing these days. I just want the sun to come out and provide some heat to this city so I can wear pastels and all those good things.

Oh, and by the way, I did wear a blazer over it; like I said, it's still cold.

2 pairs of boots, 2 styles

Don't you love boots? I do. I don't care what color they are, what material, store... I love wearing boots in the fall and winter time. Recently I got 2 pairs of boots that are not very similar. They are actually two completely different styles but I really like them both. That's how I got inspired to write this post.

The first pair is a little on the preppy side. I love riding boots but I didn't seem to find a pair that I liked. I know these ones are not riding boots but they are kind of similar and they still provide that vibe. This first outfit is actually what I wore today, so it's also like a mini outfit of the day post.
I feel like you can wear these to class (obviously, since I did), to the movies, to go out with friends...I don't know, but pretty much everywhere.

The second outfit it's more on the casual and comfy side. I know sometimes leggings look weird and awkward as pants, but if the whole concept of your outfit is being comfortable, they're a good option. These boots are rain boots and call me crazy, but I also wear them when it doesn't rain (yeah, I'm also a little sarcastic lol).

Best of 2011 Tag!

Beauty:
1. Favorite foundation: I'm not a big fan of foundations and I barely find ones that work for my skin type but this one is pretty good and stays a long time.

5. Favorite eyeshadow: I don't know if this is cheating but it's just 1 product, so I think it's OK. As some of you may know, I use this all the time because it offers a lot of different possibilities.

6. Eyeliner/Mascara: my favorite eyeliner this year was the Slide On, Glide On in "Jet Black" by NYX; and my favorite mascara was and has always been the Colossal Volume Express waterproof by Maybelline.

7. Lip Product: I love lip products so I had to cheat and choose two different things. One is a lip gloss and the other one is a lipstick but they're both amazing.

8. Skincare product: I don't really use that many skin care products, so I'm skipping this one.

Hair:
1. Shampoo: Tresemmé shampoo for straight hair (my hair is wavy but I use this one).

Fashion:
1. Favorite clothing piece: it was hard to find my favorite one, but I ended up choosing this scarf, cause I used it a lot since I got it and I feel like it's pretty unique and beautiful.

3. Shoes: these have been my favorite shoes this winter time and I know this is supposed to be a whole year round thing, but I love them so much they have to be it.

4. Bag: this is the bag that I've been carrying around most part of the year. I love that it has a lot of pockets and it's also pretty big so it fits everything that I carry on a daily basis. I even took this to class (it was at its fullest).

3. Book: The Hunger Games. The saga it's amazing, and I'm currently reading the second one.

Movie night look :)

I went to see Breaking Dawn Part 1 a couple of days ago and I was going to post this maybe a day after but I got sick and I haven't been able to do it until now. It's getting colder and colder where I live but that day wasn't as bad so I decided to wear a blazer instead of a coat (I have to say that I have a cardigan underneath the blazer and I'm always hot, so it was actually pretty cold that night: around 3ºC or 4ºC).

Outfit Of The Day #4

This is actually what I wore yesterday, but I didn't have time to post it.
It's getting colder and colder where I live, specially in the mornings, so that's why I'm starting to wear boots, long sleeves and jackets (I wore a jacket over this outfit, but I forgot to get a picture of the whole thing, sorry).

Fall Trends

 First of all, I want to say that this post shows my own personal take on fall trends. When I go through actual stores or online stores and I see something repeatedly, I consider that an upcoming trend.

Stripes:

I love this trend because it continues summer's biggest trend: nautical. And I don't know if you realized, but the third top is the same I showed you on my haul but in a different color. As you can see, the width, color, texture or print of the stripe doesn't matter. 

My favorite item: the half sequin top from Topshop. It's just beautiful, and I'm probably going to buy it. It's just gorgeous and I love how the stripes gradually change width and the sheer sleeves.

Dark red:

Any dark red color is going to be a huge success this fall; and it will work in fashion and beauty. Dark red eyeshadows and dark red nails are very pretty and will look great.

My favorite item: the tank top from Miss Selfridge. I love how it crosses in the back and also looks very light weight, which I love.

This is my favorite trend out of them all, and also the biggest one. Every store that I go or look at has ankle boots, either flat, with a wedge, or heel. I love ankle boots, as you know I already bought a pair, and I'm going to buy at least 2 more pairs. I think they're great for fall and winter since they cover your whole foot, so it'd be great if I can buy a couple more.

My favorite item: dark red suede ankle boots by Topshop. They cover 2 of these trends and are very fashion forward and pretty. I love the platform and the heel, and I think they'll be perfect to go out at night.
