It's almost December and that means Christmas is around the corner, so I wanted to do something festive with my nails. I'm not good at nail art, so I thought I'd just do an accent nail.
I chose Essie's Headmistress and OPI's Goldeneye (from the James Bond collection) for that one accent nail, this is what it looks like:
I applied 2 coats of each nail polish. As you can see, the Essie one is completely opaque but the OPI one could have used another coat because it's a glitter nail polish on a clear base (although it's thicker than most glitter polishes)
I really like the combination of these two colors and I think it's perfect for the holidays.
I recently got 2 nail polishes from OPI's James Bond collection and this is one of them. It's called Live And Let Die (since all of them have names from the movies) and I'd describe it as a dark base, which I see as a mixture of navy, green and grey, with tons of fine green and gold glitter.
and, you know what's amazing about it? ...I only applied ONE coat of the nail polish!! It's crazy how creamy and opaque this nail polish is. Obviously, it starts chipping earlier if you only do 1 coat, but still, it has lasted around 4 days perfectly.
Did you get any nail polishes from this James Bond collection? Did you like them? Let me know :)
I've been eyeing these things for a while even though they're pretty expensive. For now, I'm saving to buy the bag, but after I get it I don't know if I'll try to save for any of the others.
1. City Satchel - 360.42€ / $450 - I think this bag is very cute, simple and classic at the same time; that's why I don't mind spending that much money on it, because I know it's going to last a very long time and it's (pretty much) always going to be on trend.
2. Rings bracelet - 132.15€ / $165 - I don't know why I like this, but recently I've been loving bulky and chunky jewelry.
3. Parker Cap Toe logo flats - 200.23€ / $250 - I think these are very pretty and perfect for fall and winter. I really want a pair of Tory Burch flats, so these ones might be it.
4. Robinson zip coin case- 76.09€ / $95 - This is a very classy wallet, something that you're going to like for a long time and you're not going to get tired of.
This is what I wore yesterday to go to my friend's house. Another one of my friends is going to Italy to study abroad for a year so we got together to say goodbye to her.
I also wore a black blazer from Zara over this because it's gotten pretty cold here over the past week.
I'm finally posting my London Haul after being home for almost a month. I don't know what has taken me so long to do this since I did the video on it a while ago. Anyway, here's everything that I got. I'm going to start with clothing items:
From Topshop I got this pretty pink sweater that has that over sized look as you can see. I plan on wearing this with a belt because it doesn't look right on its own.
From New Look I got 3 things: a sheer tank top with butterflies that I wear with a bandeau or cami underneath, a cream knit cardigan and a neon pink scarf that was on sale for 3 pounds (I promise it's neon pink, but it wouldn't pick up the right color).
From Forever 21 I got this really cute skirt that I'm in love with. Even though it's pretty summery I plan on wearing it during fall time as well.
From Primark I got the coolest shirt ever (probably not, but I'm in love with it) and a mint green knit cardigan/sweater.
I also got jewelry from some if these places. I didn't take pictures on their own cause I thought this would be better, but everything in this first picture is from Forever 21,
and here, both bracelets are from New Look and the nail polish is from Topshop
I also went to the M&M's store and got a huge bag of M&M's, which I already ate (I promise I shared with my sister haha), and this cutie:
And last but not least, here's what I got at the store in the Harry Potter studio tour. By the way, the wand is like Snape's <3
I'm not at home, again. It seems like I'm going everywhere this summer, even though I'm still in the country. So I don't have many pictures to show you because I've been packing, coming here, and also (I have to admit) I've been a little lazy lately.
Anyway, here are some pictures from my trip:
1 & 3. These are actually from the same outfit. I didn't want to wear the hat on the train but I might go to the beach (so I wanted to take it) and it wouldn't fit in the suitcase. I'm also in love with those 3 bracelets; the cross one is from ASOS and the other two from H&M. 2. I took a train to come to my current location and that's the train station we have in Madrid. Actually there's two of them, but that's the most popular one (and prettier one). 4. This is just the view from the train. Middle-south Spain in the summer time: very self explanatory.
Hopefully I'm going to visit some castles and places over here this week and I can show you that next Sunday, or I might do a whole different post if I find it interesting enough.
I haven't tried out many products this month because I had exams and all of that, but I did get one thing that I wanted for a long time and finally decided to get. I love it so much and that's why I'm featuring it here: it is the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.
You probably have seen this before so I don't want to get into details, but it is a great neutral palette and you can create a lot of different looks with it; it's definitely worth the money.
Then I have 3 lip products because you all know I love lip products:
The first one is my MAC lipstick in Chatterbox and it looks darker in that picture but I have a post ready for you guys to see soon (while I'm gone) in which I have better pictures and swatches. The second one is my EOS lip balm in Lemon Drop and it's great for summer because it also has SPF 15. The third one is Maybelline's Super Stay 10h tint gloss and I don't know the color name but it's kind of a dark pink color; I'm not sure if it stays for 10 hours, but it does stay on for a long time.
My favorite nail polish of the month has been "Flip Flop Fantasy" by China Glaze which is a really pretty neon color.
And last but not least I have 2 bracelets that I've been wearing a lot. The spiked one is from ASOS and the other one is from H&M.
This nail polish is from Kiko but as you can see it looks a lot like Chanel's Peridot. Overall, I think this is a great dupe of you don't want to spend a lot of money on this color, and since I don't think I'm going to wear it that often, I couldn't justify paying 25€ for it.
This is number 395 from Kiko and since it's from the duo-chrome line it was a little more expensive than their regular nail polishes, but still it was 3.5€.
Natural sunlight, 2 coats
Indoors, 2 coats
This is a pretty close color even though I think Chanel's might be a little more on the green side, what do you think?
I made a Demi Lovato inspired make up tutorial on my YouTube channel a while ago and I thought I should share it with all of you blog readers as well.
I made it because my friend's sister requested it but I realized it is a lot of fun, so I would be making more make up tutorials on there.
I only took like 3 pictures of the look and that's because I was just testing the camera position; I was not thinking about posting it on here, but I saw the photos and I was like: why not?
Hope you like it. (by the way, the look includes eye make up, cheeks and lips, even if you can't see it in the picture).
If any of you has any request, please tell me and I'll be happy to make it :)
This post is long over due and I'm really sorry. But I knew I was going to post it eventually, so here it is. I got some money for my birthday (which was may 6th) and I decided to get these things with part of it. I don't remember all of the prices, but the priciest one where the rings and they were only 13€, so yeah...everything here is really inexpensive.
I've seen this bracelet everywhere on here and YouTube and I even had it in my april wishlist, I believe. I finally got it and I'm in love with it. They had it in a bunch of different colors (like pink, black, cream, blue, rose gold) but I decided to get the gold one.
Next I got another gold one. I really am in love with this next one and it's my favorite out of the 3 bracelets that I got. I want to say that I'm catholic, so this is not only a trendy piece; it means a lot more to me. Anyway, it is really pretty and since it's fairly small, looks really cute and classy, in a way.
The last bracelet I got is a little different from the others. It's not as trendy but still, it is really cute. I really like the bow at the end, I feel like it gives a nice touch, something fun and girly at the same time.
Then I got a necklace. I really like short necklaces; it's not that I don't like long ones cause I do, but on a day to day basis I like to wear short ones. I don't know what to say about this one, just that I really like the bow (as you may be able to tell, I really like bows).
And last, but definitely not least, I got these 6 rings. They came together in a pack and I love that you can combine them to make different looks. I only wear 2 together because I feel like 3 would be a lot (even though I might try it sometime, but no more than 3) and I've been getting a lot of compliments on them. I like how you can create a neutral look with the white one, the black one and even the pale pink one, but at the same time you get a few colorful ones.
I made a birthday haul video some weeks ago, I believe, in which I show how all these look on me. If you want to see for comparison or whatever, it is towards the end. So you can skip the rest if you're only interested in these things :)
I love to wear flats in spring and I thought I'd share with all of you some of my favorite pairs. Two of them I got recently and the other one is a bit older but I love those flats to death, so I decided to show them anyway.
This first pair I got the other day at a store called Blanco (in which I pretty much only buy accessories). I wanted to try a pair like this for a long time and since these were around 15€ I decided to get them. In real life the color is a little bit more green, but I couldn't get that on camera.
This second pair are from Stradivarius and I think I showed them before (even though I don't remember if I showed it on here or on one of my videos) and I'm really in love with them. I love the bows because I think they're really cute and I love the fact that they're gold and a hard material instead of fabric.
Seriously, I'm in love <3
This third pair is just a simple design from H&M but I like how they're sort of velvet feeling and you can wear them with either a casual outfit or a dressier one. I have like 4 or 5 pairs of black flats because I think they go with everything and I love to wear them when I go out at night and I want to take my heels off.
And last but not least, this is a pair of flats that I wear all the time. I think they're my most worn flats because they're the most comfortable (I think they're a little bit wider than the rest). I got them last summer from Forever 21, so look there because they sometimes restock things from past seasons and all that.
Hey guys! I went to H&M the other day and I got these bracelets that I'm in love with. I think they're perfect for this spring time and also for the summer time. Also, since they were from H&M, they were pretty cheap (although I don't remember the exact price), which is amazing for the quality.
The first one is this rose gold one that has kind of pastel orange links in the middle. I love it because it's bright and it definitively pops up if you're wearing a white top.
Then these two came together but I'm going to wear them separately, I think. I think they're great because they're right on the pastel trend and the chain part is gold, which makes it even more pretty. I was going to tell who how I like the mint one more, but looking at them while taking the pictures, I really cannot decide; they're both really cute.
This is my first time doing this kind of Wishlist post, so let me know if you like these so I can make more for the upcoming months. Also, I'm doing it only for ASOS since I find a lot of things that I like on there but in the future I will add more stores and combine some and all of that.
This is my first time doing a tutorial and you're going to notice I haven't quite figured out how to set my camera, lighting and all that stuff...yet.
Even though that's not the best, I hope you all still enjoy this fun tutorial I created for New Year's Eve.
1. Apply any eye primer you have. Here I'm using Urban Decay's "Primer Potion"
2. With a flat shader brush, cover your lid with any gold color you have. I'm using "half baked" from the Naked Palette (also by Urban Decay).
3. Apply a darker gold color (or brown if you don't have dark gold) to the outer corner of the eye and the crease. I used "smog" from the Naked Palette.
4. Highlight your brow bone with any highlight color. I used "virgin", also from the Naked Palette but you can find highlight colors everywhere and you can also skip this step if you don't have any.
5. Get a little of gold eyeline under your water line, below your lower lash line to make it pop even more. Here I used NYX slide on, glide on pencil in "glitzy gold".
6. Apply black eyeliner to your water line.
7. Apply your favorite mascara. Mine is the Maybeline Colossal Volume Express waterproof.
8. To finish the look, apply blush (Milani's baked blush in "luminoso") and any lipstick or lipgloss (NYX mega shine lipgloss in "tea rose").
Here's another nail of the day post. This nail polish that I'm showing you it's very unique and that's why I love it.
I don't know if you've heard about duo-chrome nail polishes, but if you haven't, here's one of those. Basically, they show different colors depending on the light or the angle.
This one is "Stardust" by NUBAR.
Here's what it looks like with no flash and artificial light. It's a coppery pinkish color that I love.
This is under the sun light. It turns into a pretty gold color that I also love.
Do you guys have any duo-chrome nail polishes? Do you like them?
